Wheat beer has always been known as an elixir or tonic; especially when unfiltered with the brewer’s yeast still in the bottle. Organic Wheat Beer is golden, fruity – the naturally occurring fruit esters from the yeast give prominent citrus and banana flavours – and thirst quenching.

Organic BIO Beer. Piwo ladne jaskrawo pomarańczowe, pachnie bananami i gruszkami. Piana slaba średnio trwala, ale mętne za to choć nie błotniste. W aromacie i smaku jest dobrze, nawet bardzo. Udalo się Brytyjczykom zblizyc do dobrych piw bawarskich w tym stylu. Smaczne i zarazem lekkie. Bardzo przyjemne i swieze. Spora zasluga pewnie ekologicznych skladmikow.

Hazy medium golden to pale amber colour, good two finger frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma wheat, yeast, banana, bubblegum, light citrus. Taste medium sweet, bitter and sourish hints, wheat, fruity, yeasty. Medium body, watery to creamy texture, average carbonation, mild sweet fruity aftertaste, light spicy notes, delicate and tasty, nice.

*Old rating. Very nice banana-fruity Weizen. Lots of yeast, round and fresh banana. Smooth and intense. A great non-German Weizen. Fascinating! The aftertaste is long yeasty-fruity, fresh and smooth. Nice stuff!

On tap at the Top 1 Forever restaurant, Royal Victoria Dock, as Samuel Smith’s Organic Wheat Beer. Hazy pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma and flavour have distinct notes of butterscotch / diacetyl - not in a bad way, really, but the standard hefeweizen notes of banana and cloves are nearly hidden behind the diacetyl.
