Ondergistend. Ongefilterd.

Bottle. Dark color, nice head that disappears quickly with some lace. Aroma, is ever so slightly raisin with malty hay. Taste is balance between hop and malt with emphasis on malt.

a nice dark amber/brown pour, looks to be unfiltered. Frothy light beige head. Aroma of fruit cake, bready chewy malts, and some subtle fruit, with maybe some molasses cookies. Mouthfeel is thick, and the flavor is sweet, and chewy. Nice sweet malts with touches of ripe fruit, and more of that nice bready fruit cake. Another great beer from this brewery.

Aroma of malt, caramel, lots of chocolate, some dark fruit, raisins. Flavour is medium sweet with a pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite well-balanced, I love that the sweetness is so restrained compared to most uber-sweet Bocks. Like the other Christoffel beers, they realise the value of bittering hops. My kind of Bock.

Tap @ het Uurwerk Hengelo. Malty, slightly roasty aroma. Full bodied, malty roasty flavor with dark chocolate and caramel. Very well balanced. 6 3 8 4 14 = 3.5 Rating: 10/8/2007 Winterse Bock Swing top bottle. Brown color. malt and a hint of dark chocolate in the aroma. Sweetish, malty flavor, slightly roasted, with raisin and chocolate. Thick mouthfeel. Not too sweet, in fact very well balanced. Excellent doppelbock!
