Barrel-Aged Apricot Saison with Brettanomyces
This Saison was aged for one year with Brettanomyces in Chardonnay and Merlot wine barrels from the Okanagan. Then aged for an additional three months on apricot before bottle conditioning. Light floral, pear and earth on the nose. With flavours of apricot, orange peel, and subtle earth. A round mouthfeel, with a long bright finish. For more fruit flavours, drink within the first year. Can be aged for up to five years in bottle.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Hazy golden orange with quickly dissipating white head. Subdued apricot, quite feint vinous notes, touch of brett, seems like it may have been artificially carbonated considering how fast it dissipated. Okay.
