Poured rom 355mL can. Near black with small tan head. Woody bourbon with mild chocolate malt. Decent.

12oz (thx, Mathieu P.!) @ Ryan's after kids' time. Appearance: almost black with beige head. Aroma: lots of charred oak, malty, some ink, and molasses. Taste: along the same lines, inky, roasty, even somewhat smoky, a bit of meaty notes. Overall: mostly a charred oak bomb, just an ok beer.
