On tap. Pours an opaque pitch black with a tiny off-white head. Intense aroma of hard roasted malts and dried fruit. Quite full-bodied, hard roasted malt and overripe dried fruit. There’s a somewhat poor yeasty edge that leaves a somewhat tired mouthfeel. Subdued malt bitterness in the finish. 080510

Draft. A black beer with a thin dark brown head. The aroma has notes of whiskey, malt, and peated smoke. The flavor has notes of wood, alcohol, roasted malt, soy sauce, peated smoke with and underlying acidity from the hard roasted malt. The finish is also slightly acidic.
