We aged this magnificently delicious, meticulously-blended barleywine in single-malt whiskey barrels from a beloved Kentucky distillery that's been making exceptional adult beverages for over 200 years. The result is a marvelously complex beverage that boasts a bewitching mélange of toasted oak, dark fruit, toffee, and golden molasses, underscored by a biscuity malt character and notes of subtle vanilla.

22oz bottle pours out deep amber topped with a small ring of a head. Nose is nice sweet malts molasses plenty barrel heat. Taste is more of the nice big sweet malts toffee molasses barrel goodness.

Bomber at share. Mahogany por, small bubbly beige head. Aroma is sweet and malty, apple notes, bourbon. Taste is more strong, sweet malts, very warm light savory accents too. This calls for a bonfire.

Bottle, Sergey's hunt
Dark brown colour with barely any head. Aroma of sweet chocolate and sweet nuts. Very sweet, with a mild alcohol warmth, rich malt flavour, and very oaky, also nutty.
Very good.

22oz (thx, Brian S.!) at Ash's shared with Alex and Andrey. Appearance: murky borne with a beige head. Aroma: sweet, bourbon, dark fruits, some booze. Taste: along the same lines, lots of malty character. Overall: pretty good barleywine.
