What is a Cold IPA? Well, those who are 'cool' about beer will say that it's something in between a lager and an IPA. We used an ale and a lager yeast during fermentation to get a blend of hoppy IPA flavours combined with delicate, refined, lager characteristics. It's very, very drinkable...maybe even too drinkable.

On tap at Shaketown. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Pine, citrus, and a musty yeast expression on the nose. Flavour has bittering hops, pine needles, lemon peels, and an interesting yeast expression. Malts are crisp and crackery. Not bad.

Poured from the tap @ Shaketown. Hazy yellow gold with small white head. Citrus and pine hops, a bit muddled, some lemon and kviek like character in there, not sure if it actually uses kviek yeast though.
