Cask @ Wetherspoon’s Piccadilly, Manchester. Amber-red with a thin head. Malty in its nose, there’s more of a dense winter ale character in its taste with some winter fruits infused with a light spice. There’s a bitterness here too.

Cask (handpump) @ The Angel, 3-5 Islington High Street, Islington, Greater London, England N1 9LQ.Light unclear medium red - orange amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light nutty, light hoppy, fruity - berry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sour milk notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20091228]

Cask@The Angel, London. Amber colour, mediumsized creamy beige head. Aroma is nuts, fruits, wood and some caramel malts. Flavour is fruits, nuts, some wood and also some mild notes of herbs.
