Toccadibò is a golden coloured beer with a creamy head which resembles a golden strong ale. The aroma is clean and dry and quite alcoholic but also has hints of sumptuous peach and apricot balanced with aromatic notes of hops with a hint of chives.
On the palate the initial sensation of warming is well contrasted by a dryness with a spiced, clean sharp after-taste which, despite the alcohol strength, immediately tempts us to drink a second glass. The attentive connoisseur will recognise an unusual but very pleasant note of amaretto.
As a table beer Toccadibò goes perfectly with white meat but just as well with richer dishes of game or fully matured cheeses. It is also irresistible with syrupy fruit tarts or almond macaroons.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a hazy golden body and a light, white head. Aroma is slightly funky, sour, grainy with pear, bread and citrus. Taste is bread, citrus, slightly sour and slightly herbal. Pretty good. Watery mouthfeel, light bubbles.

Bottle from Decanter, Milan
The color is light amber, too cloudy, but with thin perlage, creamy head and nice lace. It has a good aroma of Belgian yeast in the front, followed by traces of sugar. It has a good body strength, smooth malt flavor, light residual sweetness, spicy (the character of the yeast); unfortunately there are also some vegetable traces from the fermentation or maturation process, getting more evident at the end. The final is reasonably bitter and shows some of the alcohol content. Unrefined.

Pale orange-yellow beer, with a yellowish head. Lactic acid, a bit of wood, aroma of apples, and also some fusels. In the taste, diacetyl joins the fusels, malts, and some powerful alcohol. Well bodied (which sits bad on a tripel), alcoholwarming, slick & even oily. Rather poor, faulted beer which leans heavily on its alcoholcontent.
