Half-pint, cask at JDWs Angel. Clear amber body, layer at the top. Resin-like aroma. Quite inviting resin and leafy hops in the flavour profile supported by wood and caramel malts. Dry bitter ending. Decent seasonal bitter (London, 25.11.2012).

Spoons. Clear amber beer, ghost of a white head. Light palate. Zero carbonation. Dry malt. Thin hops. A little dust. Neutral finish. Dull bordering on offensive. Sheps can make good beer but beers like this just torpedo any attempt to take them seriously!
