The problem with this beer isn't that it lacks interesting elements. It has bread, licorice and hop on the nose; pale malts, bread and a hint of hop on the palate. But for whatever reason, these otherwise good elements just didn't come together. It was as though the flavours neutralized each other until the beer was left with nothing to offer.
