Cask at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Mid-gold with a fair bit of lacing but only a wayward smattering of white head. Aroma is too metallic for my liking, but it does have some nice floral notes. A tinge of wet dog. The taste however has a much better composition: a fruity/savoury bite fades to apple skin bitterness in the back of the throat. Dry finish. It’s not the best beer, but I enjoy beers like this one, that aren’t quite run-of-the-mill.

Cask. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as lighter notes of cardboard and minerals. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a bitter finish.
