Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5
Cask @ Flying Horse Hotel, Rochdale. Black with a creamy-frothy off-white head. Mildly dirty tasting with a mix of dark malts and fruity hops, along with a strength means this has an acquired taste. I initially thought I wouldn't finish this but got through it. Has a slight coffee aroma.

Keg in Ben Nevis bar, Glasgow. Hazy, very dark brown with a lovely tan head. Smoky aroma, flavour is roasted malt, some fruit and bitter coffee
