Pour is a amber with an average white head. Aroma is sweet, sicky toffee malts with an ever so slight hop. Flavor is a decent earthy malt with some gingerbread and caramel. Kinda different but flavorful for amber ale.

Tasting at Papsø
Hazy amber color; small head. It’s a very regular Ale, with some dry caramel, and light vegetables shade, which is a bad sign.

Score increased on a re-rate - maybe the first bottle was bad. Out of a 12 ounce bottle in a pint glass. Pours a chestnut brown with a tan head that lingers on the side of the glass. The aroma is very surprising with massive caramel grains that seem a little stale. I did not expect this. Taste is unlike an amber, but lots of sweet malt and an interesting tingly finish. Seems to have aspects of a sour after the mid-palate. I don’t know what to make of this.
