Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av kaffe, trä, rostade toner, nötter med toner av kaffesump och aska. Rund och len, fruktig, fin sötma, något spretigt intryck, fin beska men kaffesmaken når inte ända fram.

Keg at the Kings Arms, BG, 27/03/17. Black pour topped with a dirty tan head. Nose is rich roast, great coffee exhaust, spice, chocolate, light charr. Taste comprises coffee grinds, light black peppery spice, toffee, dark chocolate, roast malts, toasted brown sugar. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid coffee lead porter.

330ml bottle from Alko. BBE 12.12.2017. Pours pitch black with a smooth light brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee beans, hints of espresso, berries and chocolate. Taste is sweetish, slightly stingy with some berries, coffee beans, hints of roasty malts, chocolate and earthiness. Finish is sweetish, slightly roasty with some coffee beans, berries, chocolate and earthy notes. Okay, but not quite as balanced as the other versions.

On tap at Mother Kellys Bethnal Green. Black beer lasting tan head. Lots of raw coffee on the aroma. Lots of coffee in the flavour. Dry coffee. I mean if you don’t like coffee don’t order this beer. Ok. Well its coffee chocolate and milk. Good.

Bottled@Hotel Room Tasting. Aroma is coffee, roasted, some chocolate and mild alcohol to it. Flavour is coffee, roasted notes, some wood and slight alcohol to it.

33cl bottle. The beer poured pitch black with a thick espresso head. Heavy coffee in the nose, dark chocolate, roasted malts. Quite sweet at first, coffee, roasted malt, ash, roastedness, tobacco notes. Heavy coffee beer. Sweet finish.

Keg at Kings Arms. It pours jet-black with a small light tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, big coffee vibe, dried fruits, cake, fruit loaf, toasted nuts and chocolate. The taste is rich roasted malt, big coffee character, coffee cake, toasted nut, charred wood, leather, spice, charcoal, dried fruits, tar, chewy malt and bit of alcohol with a dry, rich roasted finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Rich and flavoursome. Tasty.

Keg at the King’s Arms. A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with reddy hues and a lasting thin light tan head. Aroma is earthy coffee bean, milky coffee, pepper, smoke. Flavour is composed of ashy roast, fresh coffee bean, berry, little veg pepper. Palate is medium bodied, frothy carbonation, light milky,. Lingering nice coffee character.
