This American pale ale is brewed with just pale and wheat malts, plus lashings of US hop varieties at the post-boil and dry-hopping stages. The emphasis is therefore on the aroma and flavour from the hops.

Bottle from Vine & Grain. Appearance - golden amber and hazy. Off-white head. Nose - pine and grapefruit. Just an edge of breadiness. Smells like an IPA from 10 years ago. A bit more West Coast. Taste - grapefruit, grapefruit zest and a sweet passionfruit note. Underlying light cakiness. Palate - light to medium bodied. Dry, zesty finish with decent persistence. Overall - yes, nice IPA, like the good old days.
