330ml bottle. Dark brown body topped by a decent off-white head leaving good laceworks on the glass. Roasted malty aroma. Lightly roasted grain in flavour with hints of sweet, dark caramel. Soft and rather foamy palate (Oslo, 17.01.2008).

330ml bottle. Nice clear amber body with a medium beige head. Aroma is sweet malt and caramel. Flavor is rather sweet, slightly roasted malt and caramel with traces of hops. Medium body, quite sweet finish. This was sampled about 6 mounts after best before date, actually improving the flavor of this beer.

An amber beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also a light hoppiness. The flavor is sweet malty again with strongest notes of caramel. I find it somewhat boring.

Bottle. Ashtray smell! Chestnut colour. Stable light brown head. OK malty flavour, slightly sweet. Low carbonation. Nice for its ABV, tasty and well-balanced.

Bottled. Copperish/amber coloured, beige mediumsized head. Metallic, malty aroma with some hints of roastiness. Sweetish caramellish malts in flavour with some roastiness. It is quite watery and weak-palated. I guess some bigger ABV would help both on flavour and palate...

Small, tan, normal-laced head; clear, dark red watery-looking body. Strong, sweet aroma with quite a bit of coffee. Taste is quite firm and sweet, but a little watery; aftertaste has some hops and some faint coffee notes. Too watery, but otherwise quite good. If they firmed it up this would be very good.

Bottled at RBESG. Clear amber, average head. Very sweet with loads of toffee and a respectable amount of malt. Medium bitterness. Acceptable, but not very enjoyable.
