16 ounce can. Slightly hazy mahogany brown color. Small pillowy beige head. Caramel malt aroma hints at cinnamon and dried fruit. Flavor is toasted malt with a touch of toffee and cinnamon. Perhaps a touch of allspice as well. A sticky mouthfeel with a bit of orange peel in finish.

Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a slightly clear amber color. Some transparency and with a finger and a half’s worth of white foamy head. Fairly quick on the dissipation. Sly lace.
The aroma had a decent blend of malt and spice. Somewhat cinnamon to allspice with a caramel/toffee/toast/biscuit quality about it.
The flavor blended the spice to the malty sweetness fairly nice. Mildly blended on into the aftertaste and freely flowing into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, what’s not to like on a cold Winter’s night, yeah, I know, it’s Spring now, but if I could get this again, I’d have it again in the Winter.

Bottle. Pours clear amber, medium beige head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is malt, caramel, spices, cinnamon, allspice. Flavor is light sweet, spiced, a bit astringent, just a touch of bitterness on the finish. Light body. Spicy.
