*Old rating from 2011. Süßliche Kirsch-Limo, die nicht mehr viel mit einem Fruchtlambik zu tun hat. Kirschlolli, chemisch süßlich, kaum Säure vorhanden. Gut gekühlt noch nicht zu süß. Durchgefallen.

Timmermans Kriek Lambic in cans, with pale pinkish, stable, coarse head and dark red colour with somewhat orangey hue, clear. Syrupy aroma, red candy (’cuberdons’), cassis, lemonade and the expected truckloads of cherry jam. Sweet and sugary taste, strongish carbo, artificial cherry presence, creamy and syrupy mouthfeel, strong ascorbic, lemonade-like acidity, lambic is nowhere in sight, finish cloyingly sweet. Nothing ’beery’, let alone ’lambic-y’.

(can) light red colour with tall pinkish head; aroma of cherries and bit of malt; flavour is sweet but not cloying, balanced by decent amount of tartness; ingredient list is too long - includes junk like saccharin which is unacceptable and causes low overall rating
