Bottle, 2012 from Todd. Pours a amber hue with almost no head. No carb really. A big sour woody nose, quite nice. Light sour cherry, funk, some sour sawdust. Smooth. Way past its prime.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange gold with thin off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is apple skin, funk, brett. Medium mouth, cereal, apple, funk, earthy, light brett, good.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass; best before 4/21/2012 date on the cork. No pop upon releasing the cork, flat beer. Pours a very hazy reddish orange color with no head. A minimal lace cap does eventually show up that lingers; with minimal glass lacing. Aromas of caramel, pear, apple, grape, wood, leather, clove, cardboard, toast, and yeast earthiness. Unimpressive aromas with decent balance and complexity; moderate oxidation makes this a bit unpleasant. Taste of caramel, pear, apple, grape, golden raisin, toast, brown sugar, leather, light wood, cardboard, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of caramel, light fruits, toast, leather, brown sugar, cardboard, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Decent flavor balance and complexity; with moderate oxidation flavors and minimal cloying flavors after the finish. Nearly zero carbonation and medium bodied; with a slick and creamy mouthfeel that is decent. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a small warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a poor Belgian golden ale due to the oxidation and lack of carbonation. Decent complexity and balance of flavors; but the oxidation makes it unpleasant. I had to drain pour this one, not enjoyable.

Aroma: The nose is fairly subtle, some yeast, apple, and honey notes
Appearance: It pours a cloudy golden color with a lacey white head
Flavor: The taste is sort of sweet, slightly tart, and with a mild sourness to it
Palate: This on has a light-medium body to it with a decent mouthfeel
Overall Impression: Overall, I thought this was a solid beer, but it didn't really have a ton of sourness to it, I was expecting more. It wasn't bad though.

Hazy murky brown color, small white head. Sour bretta aroma with some caramel underlying. Medium-bodied. White pepper, fruityness, caramel and sour bretta notes. Quite standard, yeasty, sour ale.

Bottled (thanks after4ever!). Amber colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is spices, yeast, some herbs and mild maltyness. Flavour is spices, some mild fruityness, alcohol as well as some maltyness.

2008 bottle: Yeast, fig, date, and toffee aroma. Opaque orange, thin head. Sweet cashew and toffee flavor. Chewy texture. Malty currant on the back end. Alcohol not noticeable. Mellow and smooth, a good beer.
