Bottled@Mallaskukko, Turku. Quite much pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is mild sourness (infection?, not too strong), roasted notes, quite much oatmeal, some smoked wooden notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same, but the resiny, sprucelike and mild smoked wet wooden notes. Balanced and quite nice.

Bottled 500ml (Mallaskukko, BB 10/2011)
Dark, almost opaque brown color, big creamy brown head. Chocolaty, coffee beans and vegetables in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Toasted, coffeish, a bit tobacco ash. Also typical vegetably flavors as many times in these "coffee stouts". Not very successful stout.

Black with a big light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. Somewhat thin bodied for a stout, but it still has the smoothness from the oats. 290311

500 ml bottle. Dark, reddish brown body, almost black. Thin beige head. Aroma of light roasted malt, coffee, dry fruit and chocolate. Flavor is same as aroma. Quite an ordinary stout, a bit thin body but otherwise no faults. Nothing extra about this either.

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark chestnut body with a small, dense, beige head. Dark berries, some dried fruits, roasted hints and a touch of caramel on the nose. Quite roasted flavor with the same dark berries and dried fruits found in the aroma. Smooth but a bit thin. Nice carbonation level. The finish is lasting, but it feels a bit watery. Nice roastyness. A quite nice one, could easily drink a few more of it. 110301
