Cask handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, Wednesday 23rd August 2017 Mid amber in colour with a filmy white head, good fruity bitter, I’m not sure that the IPA description quite covers this, it’s never an IPA, it’s more of a hoppy bitter, however let me point out it’s a jolly decent one at that. The ginger sits in the background you very occasionally notice it’s presence, there is a late but nice light honey sweetness. Very enjoyable beer, I could quite happily have a few of these.
