Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di orzo tostato. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il manto birroso superiore è destinato a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta velato. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza. Il colore è poco molto invitante. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è poco incisivo. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca porta note di caramello, miele, cereali, amaretto, frutta secca e agrumi.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma nocciola fine persistente, colore ambrato carico / marrone intenso, al naso prugne secche nocciole tostate miele leggero Rum, in bocca è cremosa frutta matura malto uva passa zucchero di canna miele frutta secca castagne note erbacee, corpo rotondo, alcool ben bilanciato, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro moderato. Keg at The Blackjack Brewery, Manchester, Saturday 1st April 2017 in the company of Dad and Barry. Hazy murky mid amber with a slim white head. Quite sweet, very fruity and with Bok characteristics a little vanilla and toffee but overall a little sweet. Good but a bit too sweet. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.2

Tap at BNO in Sassari-Italy. Dark amber pour, tick off-white foam a bit beige. Nice appearance! Nose: caramel, sweet malty aroma, dry fruit and prunes. Mouth: prunes, caramel, sweet toasted malts giving a cookies feeling, finish is soft bitter a bit grassy. Big character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber color, hazy; the bottle was slowly gushing. The aroma lingers too much on some cereals; the flavor is more malty, with some caramel, moderately sweet, with a good body structure; it has strong bitterness, but also light vegetables.
Not bad, but not the best Doppelbock around.
