A nice reddish amber ale with a thick fluffy moka head. In aroma, a nice herbal malt with coriander and maple syrup. In mouth, a rather light mineral malt with woody maple notes, lighter bodied. Shared with Probstk, April 2 2009.

Bottle: Poured a clear medium brown color ale with a medium foamy head with average retention but no lacing. Aroma of strong and sweet maple syrup notes with some light woody notes. Taste is also a weird mix between some sweet maple syrup notes with some malt that is not quite balancer with the sweet aspect of the maple syrup. Interesting experiment if maybe a bit cloying though I still wonder if maple syrup and beer are a good mix.
