Cask gravity at The Hop Pole (shop not pub) Aylesbury, Bucks, Thursday 8th January 2015 Described as a white/pale stout, so I have to say style wise I am somewhat flummoxed, though with the addition of wheat I thought perhaps it should sit slightly uncomfortably in that category, however I am perfectly happy if someone feels that it needs to go elsewhere. This was pretty decent. Smooth with the wheatiness showing a little, not getting much of the sea salt but I guess it was always going to be added sparingly, it actually has a steady smooth sweetness.
