Cask handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks Thursday 8th January 2015 Pours amber in colour with a slight haze and a small off-white filmy head. Fruity, a bit warm, middling bitterness, its still drinkable but I reckon its getting towards the end of the cask. Not sure what style this is aiming for but it ain’t so very hoppy (more malty) and looks and tastes like a fairly humdrum bitter. Ok. A5 A2 T6 P3 Ov11 2.7
