Cask at the Waggon and Horses, Halesowen. Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma is bitter orange squash. Taste has candied fruit to start with a bitter hoppy orange finish. Lingering bitter aftertaste. A little watery.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 23/06/2012. Deep gold with a slight white head. Citrus hop aroma with some fruity sweetness. Solid malt flavours, with more fruit, a whiff of pine and dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Cask handpump at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford 22.06.12 Pours light amber with a wispy white head. Good bittersweet balance as usual from Acorn with their hoppy beers. Very nice, the bitterness leaves a furry trail across the tongue. Some citrus rushong through, tangy and lipsmackingly good. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6
