Cask, brewery tour Loose Cannon, Abingdon, Oxon 12.06.12 Brewed as a Jubilee special this may well be my favourite of the evening. It is very much in the mould of a traditional bitter and I suppose that is only fitting as tradition is sort of what this beer is about. Pours chestnut with a little bubbling across the surface, quite a reasonably bitter bite from the off, with a good dry twang and nice fruitiness carrying things through. Its not a complicated or particularly hoppy bitter and it may be too traditional for some, but the bittersweetness working well for me and I like this. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
