Cask, handpump at The Barrels (the Wye Vallley tap) in Hereford 28-12-09 Pours dark copper with a slim off-white head, there is very good clarity. Quite malty in taste with some berries and general fruitiness. A tasty beer though nothing too special. A6 A4 F6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 2/1/08. Ruby red with a decent off-white head that left rings down the glass. Aroma of red fruit and chocolate malt with some earthy hops. The flavour was chocolatey in the main although with a long, hoppy, dry finish. A very good Christmas ale.
