Cask at the Dragon, Worcester, 27-06-09 I was surprised to find out that The Dragon own both the brewery and brew pub that this beer came from having had a long chat to the barman. This was a cracking beer. Poured pale gold with a thin white bubbly head and a decent hop nose. This is a tasty beer drinking far easier than the 5% abv would suggest. The hops spring out at yerโ, there is a dry furry bitterness but these are countered by some decent sweet malt flavours. Its so typical of a northern golden beer, lovely stuff. A7 A4 F8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Cask-conditioned at the Dragon Inn, Worcester, 30/05/09. Pale gold in colour with next to no head. Attractive leafy hop and bramble aroma. Flavour had plenty of citrus hops, well balanced with some sweetish biscuity malt and a long dry finish. Very good.
