Bottle. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel aroma. Sweetish malty spicy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel finish with weak hoppy hints.

Bottle. Hazy dark amber with a small head. Also some sediment in the glass. Seven year old but still very drinkable. Aroma of toffee and some cherries. A lot of dried fruit and toffee in the taste. Also some berries and notes of chocolate. Surprisingly fresh.

Bottle 500ml. [ Vintage 2004 ]. Unclear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, sweet malt, sweet oxidized overripe fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100314]

Hazy dark amber with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel, overripe fruits and figs. Sweet and oxydized flavour with roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, plums, figs and nuts. Finished sweet.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy reddish amber with a rough off-white head. Sweet oxidized overripe fruit in the nose. Solid body, a little low in carbonation, oxidized dark fruits with a vague whiff of hops. Old yet still pleasant. 150310

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is dark malty, fruity and slight oxidised. Dark malty, roasted, breadish and sweet caramelish. Subdued oxidised. Lingering dark malty flavoured into a smooth finish.

Bottled vintage 2004 (Pikkulintu)
Dark ruby color, small white head. Caramelly, vanilla aroma, prunes, some "vintage" notes. Thin palate. Caramelly, vanilla flavor. Dark fruits too. Tasty dessert beer. Not gone bad, but maybe body has developed a bit too thin.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown in colour. Fruity aroma with raisins and fruit cake. Fruity and moderately bitter taste with fruit cake and spicy malt standing out.
