Pale ale med tonvikt på malt. Jäst med en alejäst för att få fram en flörtigt fruktig ale lätt och lite busingt kryddad med korianderfrön för att lyfta fram humlens citrustoner.

Draught at Ölrepubliken, Göteborg, on June 3, 2010Slight bit hazy golden color, huge lasting cream colored head with a big rocky hat on top. Nicely poured Andreas! Very nice looking ideed!Sweet, malty, caramel, herbal, red berry, blueberries, hoppy, a bit spicy scent. Smells a bit like a dessert.Smooth, sweet, herbal, crem, berry, bitter, hoppy taste.Sweet and bitter aftertaste.Smoth nice mouthfeel, medium o medum hgh biternes. Could be the dry fiish that emplifies the ending bitterness though.Very drinkable, though I’d tone down the bitterness a tad and add more residual sweetenss. Higher mash temp perhaps to make it more gnoffish? After rating and finishing the drink I realized the dry huge afterbitterness was even larger than I at first imagined when more or less sipping the beer. Turned it a bit less drinkable, and I’d select another beer over this one, since I like sweetness more than high dry bitterness. Ended up lowering the point for taste from 7 to 6 and the overall from 16 to 14, mainly because of the bitterness.

Took 10 minutes to pour. Big offwhite head rises out of the glass. Pale amber body. Intense strawy wort aroma with caramelly wooden pine needle notes. Dryish grainy wooden acidic taste with dusty strawy notes. Light body. Mild mouthfeel. Dry resiny wooden aftertaste with strawy notes. Quite nice, but a bit low in aroma and thin in body. Could be more assertive. (0.4l draft, Bear and Bull Inn, Stockholm.)

Draught at Wirströms Pub, Stockholm. Almost clear copper colour, firm head. Mild citric coriander aroma. Sweetish and fruity with well rounded fairly light body. Spicy and a bit soapy with some caramel, coriander gets more evident in a finish with rather low bitterness. Sort of vaguely pleasant, the type of beer that works better to food or while socializing rather than fore rating.

(Draught at Bull & Bear, Stockholm, 30 March 2010) Pale amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, slighty fruity nose with grainy malt, biscuits and a touch of citrus. Malty, fruity taste with notes of biscuits, grain and a refreshing, well balanced, citrussy bitterness in the dry finish. Rather light body, tasty and refreshing. Nice one.
