Cask conditioned at Merton Beer Festival 16-02-07. This poured a mid amber colour with decent clarity but with barely any head at all. Some malts and hops on the nose, and whlst the taste was a just a touch on the ordinary side it was honest enough and slipped down well, hops and malts continued through and there was a slight toffeeiness just there in the background finishing with a bitterness. Whilst it wouldn’t ever set the world alight I would happily have a night on this.
