A barley wine brewed for the monastery in Ter Apel. The yeast strain makes this heavy monk's wine very distinctive and spicy. Brewed especially for the Ter Apel Monastery Museum.

0,33 l bottle. Brewed 03/26. Murky dark red brown in the glass with a more than one finger light tanned stable head. Malty, sweet apricot and alcoholic on the nose. Taste starts intensive malty, less fruity but also alcoholic with a dry bitterness. Herbal elements. Strong stuff, little bit rough.
