New England IPA au seigle brassée en collaboration avec Perspective Microbrasserie et Roy Farms, Inc.. Nous avons houblonné cette bière avec le Citra, le Mosaïc, le Strata et le Chinook de chez Roy Farms, houblonnière de l'état de Washington que nous apprécions pour la qualité de ses produits. En résulte une bière représentant à merveille le terroir américain dans sa diversité avec des arômes d'agrumes, de pin et de mangue.
C'est toujours un plaisir de brasser avec Brian de chez Perspective Microbrasserie qui nous a également accueilli pour l'une de nos premières collaborations en 2021 avant même que nous aillons nos propres installations

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5

(473ml can from the brewery) Pours near-opauqe dark yellow with a thick whitish head and good lace. Aroma of grapefruit and tangerine zest, citrus pith, fresh pine needles, resin, underripe mango, slightly earthy peppery grains, a little green onion heat. Flavour is dry, pink grapefruit and bitter orange, citrus peel, pith, a little powder candy, earthy pine needle, lightly peppery rye-infused cereals, soft fairly neutral yeast profile, finish is bone dry and moderate plus bitter, citrus oils, bitter orange soda, pith, more than a bit soapy (Strata you bastard!), some earth. Long soapy Strata aftertaste. Light to medium body, touch watery, average carbonation. I just don't like Strata. It's a shame because it's a nice low ABV rye-based body and should be quite refreshing, but the finish and aftertaste is not my thing.
