(473ml can from the brewery) Pours very hay orange-gold with a thick whitish head and heavy lace. Aroma is initially dank and catty/sulphurous, weed with mango and mixed citrus, but with a bit of air you get ripe banana esters, sweet berry candy and some fresh pine needles. Flavour is mid sweet and backed by honeyed biscuit malt, sweet ripe yellow mango and juicy orange leads sweet fruit candies that build from mid-sip on, like cherry or Swedish berries (this is HBC630 doing its work) and a little bit of estery vibe from it too, just brushing ripe bananas. Finish is semi-sweet, low bitterness, red berry candies and a little citrus oil with soft pine/dank earthiness and a hint of alcohol warmth. Light to medium body for style, a little oily, average carbonation. Very cool showcase of HBC630, and this less-than-fresh can that survived suboptimal conditions is still drinking very well.
