Lightly hazed, golden colour with a big frothy white cap, good stay and some foamy lacing. Citrus, grassy aromas with a touch of pineapple to blend some sweetness. The pineapple really comes out in the taste with a punch of fruitiness. Hints of tropical fruits to balance things. Some herbal notes lingers. Also, some mint, apricot and building bitterness. A good Double NEIPA with lots going on, but working together.

(On tap @ Bar Ninkasi, Quebec City, Mar 27/23) Pours very hazy dull orange with a thick whitish head and lace. Aroma is heavy candied and perfumed grapefruit, mixed orange peels, soursop, melon and tree fruit, very floral overall. Flavour is mid-sweet but not as much as some Boréale, again very floral citrus peel-forward (grapefruit, lime), melon, pear, some bready malt, touch of honey, fairly fruity yeast, semi-dry finish with heavy grapefruit florals, melon again, potpourri, pith, some resins, light to moderate bitterness, just a little alcohol warmth. Medium bodied, oily. Nice stuff here, Le Ketch definitely bringing out the best of Boréale. Been a while since I tried a collabo or Episode beer and it's nice to see.
