Hand pumped at Lambiczoon, Milano, Italy. Pours dark, practically black, with very fine cream foam. Aroma is coffee and some chocolate. Body is kind of thin, with close to no carbonation. Taste is nicely roasty bitter. Final is fairly short.

Cask at Lambiczoon. Pours black with beige head. Roasty, chocolate, some coffee, cacao, nice roasty bitter finish. Smooth and easy drinkable. Just a tad watery. Medium bodied.

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 20 Oct 2018) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, milky coffee and roasted nuts. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, coffee, nuts, a touch of smoke and a balanced cacao bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Really well balanced, smooth and tasty porter. Very nice.

Cask @ Moeder Lambic Fontaines, Brussels. Pours black with a small creamy head and lacings. Roasted malts and ashes. Some dark fruit. Smooth and soft. Roasted bitter finish.

19/09/2018 - draught @Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Black with nice beige head. Dark malts, roasted, dark chocolate and coffee in the nose. Taste is dark malts, roast, coffee, bit ashy, dark chocolate, bit hops, bitter roast ashy ending. Solid!

Sentori di orzo tostato, caffè, cioccolato e affumicato vanno a dare soddisfazione al naso. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera molto elevata ed elegante, permanendo in maniera pregevole. Il cappello di schiuma color marrone castagno ha una buona tenuta e la persistenza è lunga. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine, come al piano inferiore, dove il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è strutturato non pesante ed articolato. Il dolce è medio in equilibrio con l'amaro medio. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevolissimo. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano lunghe e di "buona birra". Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, caffè, liquirizia, nocciola, frutta secca, luppolo, agrumi ed affumicato.

Keg at Scurreria Beer and Bagel. Genoa. Opaque dark black coloured pour with a a lasting creamy light tan head. Aroma is sweet woody chocolate malts, tangy dark cherry , milky, earthy roast, hints of coconut. Flavour is composed milky chocolate roast, tangy dark fruits, woody, vanilla. Palate is rounded, medium sweet, milky, lowish carbonation. Little grain tannin in the finish

Draught @ Lambiczoon, Milan. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, roasted, some slight burned toast, licorice, dark chocolate. Flavor is rich malts, coffee, expresso, toast, light bitter licorice, dark chocolate. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, dry and light bitter finish. 121215

On tap at Open Baladin in Rome-Italy, with luttonm. It pours black color with some dark-brown highlights, medium and tick irregular brownish foamy head. Nose: frappe, coffee shake! Mouth: chocolate, nuts, elegant and mild bitterness, not too water either aggressive. Balanced and incredibly good!
