Hazy Triple IPA
CHEERS!

Tap at BPBW 2025, Day 1. Misty yellow body, off-whtie head. Creamy citric hoppy aroma. Creamy taste, ending dry, some citric hoppy touches, but also some phenols starting to go through - not in the best of shapes. But the alcohol is very well hidden, and I can see this being very, very nice fresh potentially.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours near-opaque dull orange-gold with a thin white head and lace. Aroma of sweet orange and tangerine, ripe mango, orange zest, a little cannabis, some light bready malt in there, touch of booze. Flavour is semi-sweet, a lot of orange and tangerine balanced by grapefruit and a dash of sweet lemon, some mango and dank pineapple behind, soft bread, finish is drying due to booze with peach skin, heavy orange zest, a little pith, dank earthy edges feeling Mosaic-esque, big grip of orange oil and some bitterness into the aftertaste, lingering alcohol warmth. Light to medium-bodied, thin for style, a bit slick, quite softly (under) carbonated. Well-balanced for a TIPA despite the exposed booze but lacking in mouthfeel to support the weight. Nice hops though.
