(On tap @ Pub Brewskey, Montreal, April 25/2022) Pours near-opaque dull orange juice with a short-lived small white head. Aroma is beautifully robust fruit punch, nice big cherry and pineapple aromatics with a good helping of mandarin and general sweet-tart candy vibes, lemon keeping thigns bright. Flavour follows the nose in that it's sweet-tart and fruity from the off, quenching mandarin-sweetened lemon core for that sour candy balance, juicy pineapple, maraschino-like cherry balancing things, really nice quenching acidity building into the finish helps cut out any cloying candy sugars, pineapple and mandarin quite prominent into the aftertaste with a reprisal of cherry and sour suckers at the end. Light to medium-bodied for a smoothie, light to moderate carbonation. Excellent balance on one of the first patio days of the year, it's bold and candy-like, super fruity, but with a quench that makes you go back for another gulp.
