(On draft @ La Souche Limoilou, Quebec City, Nov 16/21) Pours lightly hazed medium gold with a decent white head and spotty lace. Solid lightly sweet honeyed cereal base augmented with reasonably strong notes of juniper, floral/woodsy gin herbs, soft yeast esters, a little phenolic but not excessively so, semi-dry finish with honey noticeable and lots of gin botanicals. Light to medium bodied, oily, moderate carbonation. I enjoy gin so I thought this was tasty even if some barreling would have boosted the complexity.
