(355ml can from The Wheeled, Barrie) Pours quite cloudy dark gold with a decent white head and lace. Aroma is candied orange, overripe mango, orange and grapefruit peels, somewhat rich bready malt and pine needles with a touch of dank and, oddly enough, fennel. Flavour is mid-sweet, candied orange and grapefruit up front, soft but quite prominent pine needles, some fruit rind florals, some sort of hard fruit candy I can't place, bready malt, finishing dry and moderately bitter with prominent resin, grapefruit oil, decent amount of green onion bite for an older can. Medium-plus body, oily, soft carbonation, slight alcohol warmth. Solid stuff if a bit of an old-school feel for what pours like a NEIPA.
