New Zealand produces some of the finest hops in the world. Their growing region has a character unlike any other in the hop world and we are exceptionally smitten by it. Some of our favorite varieties to blend with come from the region, which is why we wanted to brew a beer that was aggressively hopped with some of our favy mcfavorites, and the results are sublime.
Dry hopped with the holy New Zealand trifecta of Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka, and Motueka we taste heaven… but also gooseberry, lime, tropical fruit and dank berries.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with some dank/tropical notes and a semi-sweet finale. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with dank/tropical notes and a semi-sweet finish. Body is full for style with a creamy feel with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA with a nice take on a NZ hops strain.

Hoppy and creamy, smooth, a touch sweet. Citrus and tropical fruit, some florals. Rich for being a single, very nice.

(473ml can c/o Luc, thanks!) Pours very hazy medium yellow with a thick white head and heavy lace. Aroma is dank and leafy as expected from NZ hops, nice punch of sweetened lime and white grape up the middle, pale berries and some sweeter citrus, floral but not soapy or perfumed, soft bread. Flavour is lightly sweet at best with the bright fruitiness of this hop bill, lime, white grape, gooseberry and cannabis, leafy but not too 'green' and peppery, some lightly creamy floral tropical fruits, soft bready malt, dry and lightly bitter in the finish thanks to the leafy, lime peel-inflected tones coupled with an unusually crisp feel for Badlands. Light to medium-bodied, fairly creamy, a little lighter in heft than their typical IPA I felt. Lovely hop trio that very much hits my preferences.
