(473ml can from a friend) Pours nearly clear gold with a decent white head and some lace. Aroma is earthy coffee beans, soft cacao, green bell pepper, maybe a little fruity ale yeast ester but basically just the coffee. Flavour is also coffee bean driven, earthy dusty coffee and unsweetened cacao bitterness, a little green pepper, quite dry overall with no real malt sweetness and a little cereal, hints of yeast esters but otherwise not much base beer coming through. Dry rather mineral dusty lightly bitter finish with earthy coffee bean into the aftertaste. Light body, above average carbonation, watery rather than creamy. Okay but just not something I really feel is needed, the base beer is light enough that it’s just coffee beans in a glass.
