(950ml growler from Alimentation L'Impact, Quebec City) Pours somewhat hazy orange-gold with a thick white head that’s stable and lacy. Aroma of sweet orange fruits and heavy dank cannabis, definitely pretty spicy and herbal as well. Flavour is rather sweet overall, orange and peppery grapefruit, complex herbs and florals, dank cannabis, woody earthy back note, sweet lime and berries towards the finish, some peppery cannabis and sweet citrus in the aftertaste. Clean sweet brioche malt throughout the sip. Low to moderate bitterness and a little hop tingle. Medium bodied, oily, softly carbonated. Solid stuff somewhere between fruit candy and dank grow-op. The double TdP is definitely a little sweeter than the standard one even if it doesn't really stray into true DIPA territory for me, and this is a nice version.
