(473ml can c/o Luc, thanks!) Pours near-opaque orange gold with a fine white head and lots of lace. Aroma of sweet orange, grapefruit peels, mango, maybe some pineapple and gooseberry accents, moderately dank, catty Citra, leafy Nelson, some bready malt. Flavour is a bit less juice than the nose, orange zest aromatic bitters prominent, some mango, interesting floral vanilla accent mid-sip, softly bready malt. Citrus peel aromatics take over in the finish, touch leafy, slight chalky mineral feel makes it quite dry, lightly citrus-bitter in the aftertaste, maybe a little grain in there too. Medium bodied, for me not actually as creamy as the typical Badlands feel, softly carbonated. I don't necessarily find the tweaks here to achieve the softness I was expecting but this was a lot better than #37 and I actually like the heavy citrus bitters that remind me of an amaro.
