Nice and hazy golden and copper coloured body with a peach glow and a thinnish, two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of bitter dry hops with some grass, perfume, hay and a dose of caster sugar and metal at the end, nothing exciting here. Medium-bodied; Pungent and almost assertively astringent qualities show some off flavours, metal, alcohol, warmth and piney/dry hops way up front with a good deal of malt, grass and hay right afterwards without much sweetness, no depth, but more bitterness, this time from the alcohol. Aftertaste shows the dryness, a little dash of malts and hay and a finish of pure hop bitterness, from resin and pine, but nothing complex at all. Overall, a pretty poor Imperial-ish IPA that shows almost no complexity, no real depth in flavours and only some decent flavours at all. Good if you like dry and simple IPAs, but pretty poor for just about anything else. Nice to try, but glad I didn't have to go out of my way to get this one!
