A beer experience with a true distinction, our Triple wit is a unique bottle conditioned Belgian style ale. Made from two row barley, white wheat and rolled oats. To compliment the satiating taste only found by using a traditional top fermenting yeast, coriander and oranges are added. This addition during the brewing process lends to the delicate balance of flavors between the malt hops and yeast.

22 oz. bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Snifter shows me a murky gold color with low carbonation. Nose is Belgian yeast dominate with orange, coriander and peaches. Flavor is sour orange peel, wheat and some light citrus notes. Coriander is subtle. Medium, nearly syrupy mouthfeel with a nice long sweet finish. ABV is completely masked. The aroma really made me what to drink this. The flavor is slightly off with the sour note. After one snifter, I had enough. Still drinkable and perhaps a fresher bottle gives a better result.

Bottle. Banana/lemon, coriander, and malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow color with minimal head. Very sweet banana and malt flavor. Mild acidic/alcohol finish. Somewhere between a witbier and a tripel - not bad but very sweet.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 10/4/11

Aroma: The nose has notes of orange, citrus, corriander, other spices, and yeast
Appearance: It pours a somewhat cloudy golden-orange color with a fizzy white head
Flavor: The taste is rather sweet and fruity, lots of orange, with some more subtle yeast/spice
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a soft carbonation, with a little tingle, and a decent finish
Overall Impression: This is a fairly sweet and orange example of the style, with a slightly sour, citrusy feel. It is a solid beer, but I thought it could have been a little better. It felt a touch overly sweet to me, but I thought it still worked pretty well. I don't really know how to feel about this one. My opinion changed a few times as I was drinking it, but I settled here.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy orange with a slight, transient white head. Aromas of zest, yeast/spice, kandi and perfume! Maybe that should be floral. Med body, almost. Flavor is orange, arguably coriander, indeterminate grain, and yeast. Floral, kandi and perfume seem to be gone quickly. There is no trace of heat. Deadly lawnmower beer. It has that nagging taste usually found in tripels. Tripels - it’s a love - confused relationship. Anyway this one fits right in as the orange fatigues out somewhat. Nice drink.

Bottle from a trade with drfabulous. Pours clear light amber color with thin white head. Aromas of corriander and orange peel. Sweet fruity flavor, doughy yeast and some spices. Some corriander also. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Quite an interesting brew. Smells like a witbier but tastes like a Belgian tripel. Thanks Jeff.
