Boss Tweed is 9.3% of hazy swagger. So much swagger it’s been one of the Midwest’s highest-rated hazy double IPAs for 7 years and running! An unrestrained, must-try hazy brew bursting with citrusy hops and tropical peach, mango, and tangerine aromas.

A nice pilsner malt backbone with a touch of Vienna provides balance and a lingering sweetness on the back end with a hint of warming from the higher alcohol content.

Lot of mango, some passionfruit, grapefruit. Pretty nice stuff and good double NEIPA. Murky orange pour that looks like mango juice. Not much head or lacing. Green onion hop tang finish. Can.

16 oz can from Tavour, 4/23/20. Fully hazed darker orange color with a some strong lacing on the glass. Really strong overripe fruit thing here, with orange, pineapple, and grapefruit. Strong malt presence. Rather sweet, and a little sticky. Not terrible, but the flavor just didn't work too well for me. 6/3/6/3/12 16 oz can from Tavour, 7/17/20. Held on to this one for a few months, partially because I didn't love it the first time, partially because my beer fridge is a disorganized nightmare these days. Still has that overripe fruit thing for sure, but it's mellowed a bit with some age and I think that has actually improved the flavor. Still not my favorite, but I felt like it need a slight pump up. 7/3/7/3/14

Good, dense, yellowish head over fully hazy orange beer. Intense fruitester/hopoil/lupulin nose, citruspeel, fresh hops, nearly insectoid. Sharp, almost mineral/fishy, intense hopflavour, pure lupulin, more fermented hopextract than beer. Evidently again citrus/citruspeel, sucade without the sugar. Obviously very hop-oily, viscous; medium bodied at least; good carbonation; long-lasting flavours. Near astringent from the hopoverdose. Orthodox - in the hopheads' way. Well, worth trying.
