black and oily pour, settles pitch dark with a small film brown head.
complex very strong aroma of well blended notes, namely, roasted malts, salt licorice, wood, cofffee, bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, coconut. Very intense aroma but everything in it is smooth and velvety.
flavor is coffee, roasted malts, bourbon, wood, salty licorice. end is bitter from malts. not much hops going on that i can taste, but there might be some hidden, bitterness seems to be malts driven mainly. A dessert imp. stout to the slightly sweeter side, with some sweet chocolate like notes. There is a lot of complexity and it seems like the barrelling must have added layers and layers of flavors..

On tap at Peders, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is loaded with huge coffee notes, big bourbon, and dark sugars. Flavour is sweet, with lots of coffee, dark sugars, big bourbon, and medium roast. Sweet but far from cloying. Wonderfully complex and rounded. Excellent.

On tap at Peders. Pours black with a tan head. Coffee, bourbon, vanilla, rich dark malts. Flavour is super rich, lots of chocolate, bourbon, coffee, some vanilla. Thick-bodied. Fantastic.

Sweet and lightly roasted dark malty with lots of sweet maple and caramel, fudge, great biscuity sweet malts, cocoa and some coffee roast, caramelised brown sugar, full bodied, opulent bourbon and maple laced sweet malty finish. Beautiful.

Fat på Taphouse med kamraten P.N. Doftar mycket bourbon. Smaken krämig med massor av bourbon o choklad. Något söt för mig för att landa på högre betyg.
